Update Sept. 26: Sharky was adopted.
Update July 18: Sharky is back at the shelter. Her new pet home left her in the house and she had a lot of fun chewing things up. Sigh….these things should be taken slowly, introducing a husky to the house.
Update July 16: Sweet Sharky got adopted into a pet home. We wish her the best life! Such a cutie.
Sharky is an extremely friendly petite 3 year old female. She LOVES attention and is very well socialized. She is a funny girl that shows all her teethe when she is smiling and begging you to come pet her. She is another of the Galena dogs and is on house F.
We are friends of Paddy Nollner and we mush in Galena. We have recovered our dog lot and all our dogs are home. We would like to foster/adopt up to two of his dogs, if possible. Sharky and Tully sound most likely to fit into our kennel, since we have three children and love the friendly dogs (though we can usually accommodate and win over shy ones with time.) We don’t plan to be in Fairbanks soon, but could perhaps arrange for someone to get dogs to the airport for us. What are your thoughts?
Thanks for your request! I’m sure we can help you out with a couple of dogs. Sharky got adopted already. She will be an active pet here in Fairbanks! I’ll email you directly so we can work out adoptions and flights.
I bet they will be happy dogs to be back “home.”
