Mookie is a character and a misunderstood sled dog!! He is tall and extremely skinny (it is hard to tell in this picture how skinny he actually is) and loves people. But he doesn’t like other dogs at the moment. He came from a pet home but I think they probably got him from a musher as a puppy because he doesn’t have his dew claws. He has a lot of energy and can jump fences and then doesn’t come back. This boy needs a job!! He would love to find someone who will run, skijor or mush with him. I bet if he learns to trust and know that other dogs aren’t threatening, that he would turn out to be an incredibly fast sprinty dog that goes goes goes. Mookie is inside at the shelter.
